The park was acquired in 1989, and 27 years later is still owned and operated by the same family. Gemma and husband Steve run the park with the help of Park Managers, Debbie and Rob and our Senior Park Warden, Ryan. We have a small team of seasonal wardens who help us maintain the park during the summer.
We are committed to development and improvement of the caravan and camping park and changes have been made regularly from developing The Laurels (previously a camping field), building new shower blocks, the planting of over 5500 trees, providing a new children’s playground, opening a recreation field with a football pitch and maze and a dog walk and nature trail on the adjoining field.
We are pleased to have had our hard work recognised by Visit England being awarded the 5*, we have recently joined the AA scheme and have been awarded the 4 pennants, we have attained the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and Pets Welcome Award.
We aim to provide a traditional caravan and camping park with top quality facilities, in beautiful Scarborough surroundings in a great location to explore the many wonderful things this area has to offer.
